Hi! I’m Mylesha. Just a little bit about me…
I graduated from California State University, San Bernardino with a Bachelor of Arts, Degree in Graphic Design & Marketing. I then went on to receive my Master's in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, from the University of Redlands.
I started my professional career in the Southern California radio market as a Promotions Coordinator for KOLA 99.9 FM, a local radio station located in Redlands, CA
While at KOLA, I found myself wanting to expand my design & marketing skills to learn more about the events industry. I was given the opportunity to assist in the coordination of the Annual 212 NYC Media Beach Party. This led me to my role as the Marketing & Events Manager for the Building Industry Association, Baldy View Chapter, where I was responsible for the planning, execution, and marking of all events as well as the Chapter's membership & recruitment efforts.
My event management experience also includes the execution of Cal State San Bernardino’s first 5k Glow Run, as well as traveling the country, managing full-day conferences & working with high-profile clients as an Event Producer for Argyle Executive Forum in New York City.
I am currently enjoying my role as the Inland Empire Community Manager for Yelp, where I am able to combine all of my previous experience into one role. I like to take on small projects in my spare time, so If you are interested in working together, please feel free to contact me.

From the moment I started with Yelp, Mylesha welcomed me in and made it clear that if I had any questions or needed help she could be a resource. Over the last eight months that I've been with Yelp, Mylesha has been pivotal in my success and growth. Her skills in creating graphics and templates for use in pitching, coaching, and events have not just helped me but my teammates as she's happy to share her work with not just her inner circle at Yelp but anyone who will help.
While we were only on Coastbusters together for a short time, I can still see the impact she's making as she grows and serves the Inland Empire and continues to share what she learns and creates with the rest of us. Her willingness to help others, her creativity, and her involvement with different teams and committees within Yelp make her a unique and valuable asset to the community team and to Yelp as a whole.

She's reviewed multiple creative copies for my events Yelper parties, and other CMs while also being on the Creative Committee. I constantly pick her brain for additional unboring elements to incorporate and review my content copy to ensure my message is clear. Mylesha is a leader in our team that has created a lasting impact on each of us.
